When you ask many writers what they struggle with – what keeps them from writing – I hear one answer more than anything else: time.
Most of us feel like we don’t have any time to write. But the truth is, we spend time on the activities we value most. So make time.
Now, this might be hard. You might push back and say “I can’t do this.” But hear me out, ok?
The best time to write (for many people) is in the early hours of the morning, before distractions take over. Really.
I recommend 60-90 minutes to give yourself plenty of time to wake up, focus, and write.
Writing first thing in the morning allows you to have the “writer’s high” all day long. You know you’ve done something good to start the day off, and it even happened before breakfast.
